Winsome has been sitting neglected for too long in the marina bone yard. The poor old girl has been waiting patiently for her owners to find the
time to pay attention, but work and school and the scarcity of
greenbacks has kept them away. This spring, work has begun in earnest to relaunch.
In one of our last posts in 2012, she was being carted down the road to
Rock Hall for a complete cockpit fiberglass replacement project, which
gave this classic boat a new lease on life. The photo on the right shows the new fiberglass work with new non-skid areas. Teak coaming boards and teak seats were installed shortly after this photo was taken.
